Delete your data
You can delete your Tingly stories and anonymous account at any time in the app. Tingly is operated by Hapiga Studio. Contact: support@hapiga.com.
In the app
- Open Tingly.
- Tap the Me tab.
- Tap Delete my stories and data.
- Confirm.
The app then returns to its first screen.
What is deleted
- All your stories and their messages, including story summaries.
- Your Credit balance and Credit history.
- Records of replies that were written for you.
- Your anonymous account (Firebase user ID).
When the deletion completes, these records are removed from the app's database and your anonymous account is closed. This cannot be undone. Credits are not refunded. The retained records below are excluded.
What is kept
- Reports you sent are kept for safety review and scheduled for automatic deletion 365 days after you sent them. Automatic deletion can take additional time. A report keeps a copy of the reply you reported and your optional note. Your account ID is replaced with a one-way hash. This removes the direct account ID; it does not make the report fully anonymous. The reported reply and your note remain until the report is deleted.
- Application and server logs in our default Google Cloud logging bucket are kept for 30 days for technical support, security, and error investigation. Other Google Cloud records, such as required audit logs, can have different retention periods. They can include your UID, short model reply or error excerpts, and search text when a search exceeds our scan limit. The in-app deletion action does not erase these logs.
- Analytics data contains usage and device data, not message text or report notes. Our Google Analytics settings retain event-level data for 2 months and user-level data for 14 months. New activity can restart the user-data retention period. These limits do not apply to standard aggregate reports. The app resets your local Analytics identity after deletion. This does not erase data already stored by Google.
- Deletion protection keeps your deleted UID for 24 hours to block requests that are still in progress. This record is then scheduled for automatic deletion.
- Model service records are subject to OpenRouter and model-provider retention policies. The in-app deletion action does not erase any copies retained by those services. See our Privacy Policy.
To delete one story only
On the Chats tab, delete the story. Its messages are deleted.
If you cannot open the app
If you removed the app, you can lose access to your anonymous account. Removing the app does not delete server data. To ask us to delete it, email support@hapiga.com with the subject "Delete my data". Include your anonymous user ID if you have it. If you do not, include the approximate dates you used the app and a character you talked to. We can ask for more details to verify ownership and find the correct records. We cannot guarantee that we can identify an account without its user ID. Do not send passwords or private story text.
